Professional projects
Grace has received grants from Arts Council England, Elephant Trust, Arts Admin Bursary, Goethe Institute Glasgow, and the Jerwood Charitable Foundation, among others. She additionally won three travel scholarships — the Boise Travel Scholarship, the German Consulate in New York's Travel Award, and the British Council's Travel Award — in 2010. She was shortlisted for the 2013 Jarman Award and received the FLAMIN Productions Award in 2013 and 2011. She has also won the Film and Video Umbrella Free to Air Award and taken part in the Associate Artists Programme at LUX Artists Moving Images.
She has been artist in residency at the Centre for Contemporary Arts Glasgow, the Wiels-Contemporary Art Centre in Brussels and the Gershwin Foundation in New York, and been invited to speak at conferences at the ICA and the University of East London.
Her most recent solo exhibitions took place at the Contemporary Art Gallery in Vancouver and Site Gallery in Sheffield. Her work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at The Showroom, Photographers' Gallery and South London Gallery in London, Badischer Kunstverein in Germany, and the Gershwin Gallery in New York. Her work has been screened at events including the Artist Film Club at the ICA in London, the 56th International Short Film Festival in Oberhausen, Germany, the Musicaexmachina Festival in Spain, the Festival du film de Compiègne in France, the Goethe Institute's International Festival of Video and New Media in Morocco, the Salon de Arte Digital Festival in Venezuela, the Brighton Film Festival and the Spill Festival of Performance in London.
