Stuart's work is currently focused on zines, self-publishing practices, and comics as vehicles for exploring and interrogating architecture and design.

Position

Senior Lecturer, Programme Lead BA Design

Stuart has lectured in the department since 2014.

He previously taught at the Royal College of Art in Design Products from 2011 鈥� 2015.

Prior to returning to the college, having completed the undergraduate at 樱桃视频 in 2008 he has worked as a designer for organisations, clients and studios including AMO (The Office for Metropolitan Architecture), Prada, The British Council, Unity, Cancer Research, Unilever, Matter and the Gwangju Biennale.

As part of the design and research collective POI his work has been shown work at the Victoria and Albert Museum (London, UK), The Museum Of Modern Art (New York, USA)鈥�, Rice Gallery (Texas, USA) and Mus茅e d'art moderne (Saint-脡tienne, France).

His work is currently focused on zines, self-publishing practices, and comics as vehicles for exploring and interrogating architecture and design.

Teaching

Stuart leads the first year of BA Design course as well as mentoring students in the studio component of the third year.

Up until 2017 he was responsible for delivering the graphics component of technical studies and currently teaches this in the second year.
