Goldsmiths Department of Music is the largest in the UK's established university sector, with a vibrant community of postgraduates on Masters and PhD programmes.

In the 2021 Research Excellence Framework, 100% of the Department’s impact submissions were rated 4* or 3*, meaning ‘world-leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’. Our joint submission with the Department of Theatre and Performance achieved 9th place for Research Power.
