Every day our students, staff and alumni are involved in amazing things. From live music to lectures, and plays to poetry slams, there are countless ways that you can experience what makes Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ special and celebrate the achievements of our community, and the excitement of our local area. Here's our pick of seven things to do in the coming week.

Go: down the Rabbit Hole

Alice in Wonderland is getting a makeover in a musical format at this July. Based on Lewis Carroll’s classic,  is set both in the real world and in an online multiplayer game. It's written by Moira Buffini with music by Blur frontman Damon Albarn - both are Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ alumni!  now.

Hear: tales of Londoners at London Eye

Following last year’s sell out event is hosting 32 talks in each of the 32 capsules on 32 extraordinary Londoners. Designer and Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ alumna Dame  is one of the topics, while Gavin McFayden from the Centre of Investigative Journalism (based at Goldsmiths) is talking about Julian Assange.

Keep: your fingers crossed for Eli Dagher

Department of Media and Communications alumnus Ely Dagher could win . Dagher's film 'WAVES ’98' is one of nine shortlisted from 4,550 recieved entries in the 68th year of the prestigious festival. - the prize ceremony is on 24 May.

Do: sociology with a mango

Think sociology is a traditional discipline? At Goldsmiths we practise sociology with a variety of things, from mango and postcards to music and social media. So sit back and let our lecturers prove you wrong.

Find: your inner poet

is an annual event of performances, talks, films and workshops. This year Ó£ÌÒÊÓÆµ alumnus  is hosting a  and spoken word, and the Festival Finale will celebrate Goldsmiths lecturer and children's author Michael Rosen as the new Poet in Residence!

Tour: the world in seven days

How far can a Goldmiths graduate go? In our biggest Reunite campaign ever, we'll be hosting events all over the world, covering 14 cities in seven days. More than 400 alumni will attend and you can still if you're around one of the listed cities. You can also follow their steps in our .

Master: being an entrepreneur in the Digital Age

Find it hard to distinguish a SWOT from a Matrix? Dr James Ohene-Djan will be leading a on how to develop your own new Internet start-up business. He's a senior lecturer in our Department of Computing and lwill be aunching the new BSc in Business Computing & Entrepreneurship in 2016.
